I grew up in Florence, where I studied arts from the age of 14 and then comics design at 16. Since then I've been doing storyboards, character design, comics, paintings, engravings, illustration, album covers, sculptures and damages of all sorts.
Because of that plane story I must have developed some Oedipus complex over instability because I spent the last 13 years running to stand still, fom Australia to the Bslkans, from street music to circus.
And I lost drawings on my way, and time, and keys, and I come here and there with many stories, and I still drink my coffee so fast I forget too soon.
And then four years ago I stopped in Beirut.
Please mind you that I come from a land where olives are small&black and old men talk a lot about making love to pumpkins while harvesting for wine. So I know how to make oil, but I don't
know how to wake up early.
I believe that women who nag too much cause war and natural catastrophes so whatever I do, I try to do it analogically as much as I can because computers and graphic pads don't give me the pleasure of having my hands dirty.
I hope you were not expecting a real artist's statement.
